Synopsis:
A horror/thriller short film that follows the story of a young man who has washed up on a desert island following a shark attack. He soon discovers that he is not alone... but the islands occupants are not as welcoming as he'd hoped for.
MEET THE TEAM
Stefan Ruiz is the director, co-producer, editor and also lead actor. He has been in the industry (mainly as an actor) since he was a child and has a long list of credits to his name, including lead performances in the West End and on Broadway. He graduated from Guildford School of Acting in 2013 and is now living in London and working as an actor and filmmaker.

Sophie Perolari is a local Seychelloise and is our DoP, co-producer and marketing manager. She is an inspiring camera woman with an incredible eye for composition and detail. Since completing her filmmaking course at Central Film School (London) she has been working as a DOP, freelance filmmaker and film teacher.
Dylan (14yrs) and Isla (8yrs) Savy are siblings and are residents on Bird Island. They play the part of 'The Ferals' in the film. Both Dylan and Isla were perfect for their roles as they spend most days running around the island barefoot, free from worry and in touch with nature. We couldn't have asked for better young actors!
Sam Cooper took care of our Behind The Scenes footage and stills (with some help from Dylan Savy). Sam is a keen photographer, he was working out on Bird Island at the time of filming and was kind enough to give up his free time to come and capture our journey whilst making this film.
Max Boschetti was another volunteer who was on Bird Island during filming.
He was a massive help with sourcing props, liaising with staff and carrying equipment as well as helping out as a runner on set.
We are proud to also announce the newest member of the team, our music producer, Sorie, a.k.a Skonson. Since obtaining his degree in music business and production from Middlesex University Sorie has worked alongside recognised figures in the industry, as well as up and coming artist. The Ferals will be the first short film that Sories has produced a soundtrack for but with his wide range of musical experience, positive attitude and creative genius , Puzzle Piece Productions is extremely happy to have him on board.
